Samsung Z Opens in Tizen

Samsung has introduced the first ever Tizen smart phone. Tizen is an operating system formed by Intel and is being developed by Samsung. The open platform software still faces some important challenges. Samsung has assured that the phone will be on an affordable price and will have features of a better smartphone with everything the buyer would desire in a smart phone. In this device Samsung has ignored its much used Android platform and has chosen Tizen as an alternative to Android.

It has a lot of compromising features such as the price itself which comes in the middle range.it has an acceptable 4.8 inch 720p screen and has 2.3 GHz quad processer of an unknown make or company. It memory is also acceptable with a 2 GB ram and 16 GB internal storage enough for a high standard smart phone. It can be also expanded up to 64 GB through the use of memory cards. It has an 8 megapixel back camera which is the main camera and also a front camera of 2.1 megapixels. Samsung has assured that the camera will be having the same features as of the android line like the dual-shot, panorama and beauty shot. The design and the structure are absolutely taken from the other Samsung phones but the hardware differs with the android line which is branded.

The huge firm is still short of facts of the Tizen operating system. The company has not issued the details of the OS 2.2.1. It is clear that it will be having an app store with some apps for Tizen. The other details such as about messaging, email and navigation are yet unknown. Samsung has assured that the phone will be fast and will support various tasks at a time. It will support 2D and 3D graphics and better memory management too will be available. Smooth surfing and hard-wired security is also there due to a built-in finger print sensor. It will also provide better battery life and better colors on screen with adjustable panels and much more. The platform of Tizen is quite similar to that of Android as shown by Samsung.

The price of the Samsung Z will be lower than of the Android powered smartphone. The sale will start in Russia in June-September period and then will spread eventually to areas which support cheaper hardware. There is a big question on whether the product will even reach US or not because of the lacking of carrier support. An example is of Japan where Samsung cancelled the sale at the last moment due to the same problem. The hardware is also of good quality but not much of people’s choice as compared to other smartphones. There is also some doubt about the operating system as well when compared to Google’s Android which is quite experienced.

Due to lack of carrier system in various parts of the world the Samsung Z might not boost that much, another problem could be of limited Apps provided by Tizen. Many challenges still stand in the way as the fifth software stand in the way of Android and IOS both.
